I just wanted to take a quick moment to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thank you for supporting the Subaru Performance Handbook by joining our mailing list in 2008. We have enjoyed the successful release of the 3rd Edition this year covering all models up to the MY08 range and look forward to continue to be able to provide you with the great information to help you out.
We have already seen the release of the 2009 WRX here in Australia and we will continue to update the book with great information throughout the New Year keeping you up to date with top info on the latest models as soon as they are released.
Many are lucky to get some extra time off work over the holiday season, it is a great time to put some extra work into your car as well. As we add new information to the book in the New Year we will probably not be able to keep the price as low as it is today - however, if you own the book - you will get access to any new updates we release throughout 2009 at no additional cost to you.
So, as a Christmas Gift, I have reduced the price to under $20 USD if you buy before the 25th December.
I just uploaded a brand new article with some great wheel alignment tips for Subaru Impreza owners.
It talks about the front sway bars and rear sway bars as well as a pretty good explanation of toe and camber - I know lots of people who get those two confused!
If you want more information on your Subaru Impreza suspension (or any model Subaru for that matter) then make sure to join us for the upcoming teleseminar series starting on Tuesday 30th September.
One of our guests will be Jim Gurieff from Whiteline who was involved in the recent Grudge Match 2 video.
We will be talking with Jim in detail about the setup of the car from a suspension perspective for the Grudge Match 2 as well as answering a bunch of questions.
Click Here to find out who else is going to be on the calls with us and submit your own questions - you can go in the running for $100!
Leave your comments and let me know what you thought of the article.
I just wanted to remind you about our live teleseminar this week with Jim Gurieff from suspension experts Whiteline where you get the chance to have your own personal questions answered about exactly how to get better performance from your suspension.
Joining us for the teleseminar is as simple as registering to confirm your seat, dialing the number we send to you and listening in. As a registered member, you can also submit your own questions for Jim to answer.
After the call we will give you access to the recordings and PDF transcripts for download to listen to whenever you choose.
Register here http://www.subarusecrets.com/ to get the dial in details for the call and the link to submit your own questions.
Its a challenge getting consistent performance from your suspension when you take your Subaru to the track as well as use the car for normal road driving.
We have just posted a great new interview onto the Subaru Performance Handbook website with Brett Middleton from MRT Performance interviewing the senior technician for Red Ranger who are the holding company for Whiteline who manufactures and distributes a complete range of performance handling and suspension products for the world.
During this interview, you can find out the best bang-for-buck upgrades and what to try first to get better suspension on the track.
They also explain what tow and camber are and what effect they have on your driving performance as well as how setting more negative camber for track driving will improve your handling.
This is a great interview and you really should check it out if you ever take your car to the track or even if you just want better handling on the road.
